Types of layout for Catalogue Printing

There are various layouts used for printing catalogues. Each type of layout is unique used for different kinds of printing such as, from luxurious to economical catalogue printing. The standard layouts commonly used these days for printing catalogues are:

Column layout: This layout has a column reserved for each article or product listed in the catalogue. The column layouts are ideal, mainly when you want to use something more than just a picture in order to explain the details of your product. For instance, if you want to prepare a catalogue of an electronic gadget, then you need to list down the specification such as its features, requirements and outputs. This is possible only if you have different columns for each section.

Grid layout: This is the simplest and the most commonly used layout. People who prefer least expensive catalogues use this type of layouts. The grid layout is cheap and the most efficient. The best thing about this layout is that you can divide it into several equal cells in a grid format. The products in your catalogue are placed in equal spaced cells, so that people can easily have a glance over it. The only disadvantage it has is that, you may lose a large amount of space for important information if you have more number of products. If you are in search of a simple yet an effective layout for your catalogue, then gird layout is the best for you.
I would personally recommend you choose the layout, which best suits your needs. Select the one that will truly make you feel content.
